Ellesmere Port's massive greenhouse gases could be reduced by a third in 11 years
A new study by the Energy Innovation District (EID) has revealed how a local, smart energy system could reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Ellesmere Port, where 5% of the UK's energy is currently consumed, by 34%. The £200k project – part funded by the Government's Prospering from the energy revolution programme – also demonstrates potential energy cost savings of up to 25%.
