Lawrence Pierce claims in A New Little Ice Age has Started that facts about Solar cycles, well known to many scientists, were concealed from the world in the rush to promote global warming.

He points out that this winter was brutal in Canada, the Central and Eastern U.S. and parts of Europe with many more to come. And there have been volcanic eruptions, severe winter storms, devastating floods and heavy ice coverage all of which relate to reduced sunspots and increased cosmic rays.

Pierce states that a regularly occurring 200 year solar cycle, which has been recognized by science for at least 1000 years brings cold and snow, but also warm periods to Earth.

The author claims that readers of his book will find out how fewer sunspots warn of colder seasons, and how our weather today is like the beginning of the last Little Ice Age. Readers, Pierce believes, will discover which parts of the US and Canada are historically much more likely to be warm during the next 50 years, and get practical advice about living in a very cold environment and being self-reliant.

Lawrence Pierce claims that the The UN's IPCC promoted global warming, rather than telling the truth. And that for the coming Paris Climate Summit in December 2015 they propose a new tax for 'climate crimes' committed by our ancestors back to 1750.

The Author is a retired Vancouver litigation lawyer, who came to Hornby Island BC to grow organic grapes and blueberries in 2003 at the end of the Twentieth Century warm period. He soon came to believe that the climate was changing, not as promised by Al Gore and the global warming advocates, but rather in the other direction. After two good crops, his grapes failed three years in a row.

After researching 'global warming' for several years he found that there was a body of scientific opinion, based on observations and history that led to only one conclusion: rather than getting warmer, it was getting colder, much colder. The winters of 2013-14 and 2014-15, along with many other factors, he feels were convincing proof that all the scientists who predicted global cooling starting between 2012 and 2015 were right and we are entering a new Little Ice Age.

The author believes that his experience as a trial lawyer has given him the skills to sift the evidence carefully, and present facts and arguments that will convince even the most devout believers in global warming.

Pierce points out that Dr. Habibullo Abdussamatov of the Pulkovo Observatory, and the supervisor of the Astrometria project of the Russian section of the International Space Station has studied the Sun for his entire career - and that this expert on solar cycles recently declared that, just as he had predicted for the last decade, Earth's 19th Little Ice Age had already started.
