CIRIA's susdrain project's animation on Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) provides an engaging and digestible overview of SuDS. The short animation called "Ever wondered where the rain goes?" demonstrates how changes to the natural water cycle caused by development can be positively managed, and, how SuDS turns this challenge into an opportunity to contribute to better places.
SuDS is well represented at the Floodex and National Drainage Show this week (9 & 10 November, Excel London). The SuDS theatre day one, is curated by susdrain and will be chaired by Prof Richard Ashley (Chair- Emeritus Professor of Urban Water at the University of Sheffield). You'll be able to see and listen to Craig Boorman, Thames Water talk about the London Strategic SuDS pilot amongst others. Click the link here to register for your FREE Floodex visitor ticket
